OUR FARM
Thank you for visiting our site,
now is the perfect time to plan a relaxing break in our isolated farming valley in mid Wales.
No light pollution at nights so perfect for star gazing.
All lodges have wifi powered by Starlink
A friendly welcome awaits those who wishing to try a relaxing holiday in one of our two lodges nestling in the hills of a working farm near the Welsh border. The farm covers 279 acres of pastureland with ancient woodlands, ponds and streams.
We have two solid wood Finish Lodges
Cefn-nant, sleeping four, one king ensuite with bath wc, another king or twin room with ensuite shower wc, plus private hot tub.
Suran-y-coed, sleeping four plus cot. one double ensuite with bath wc, another with either twin or a double bed and downstairs shower wc by the door to the hot tub.

FACILITIES
Gamesroom
On the farm you have a large shared games room with a full-size professional snooker table, table tennis, foosball and darts board.
Garden
Suran-y-coed has a large enlcosed garden with a stream. Cefn-nant has a small garden area. Both have charcoal BBQ's and seating
Hot Tub
Both places have there own private hot tubs
Free Wifi
Free wifi is only available in both lodges, mobile coverage on the farm is best via BT and Orange.
Activities on the farm
We are happy to show guests around the farm and at certain times of the year you can help feed the animals.
Picnic spots on the farm
Why not pack a picnic and walk to the top of our hill to the east for great views.

THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA
Elan Valley Dams
These Victorian Dams are still supplying Birmingham and are great for a day's walking or cycling.
Ludlow Castle
Medieval town of Ludlow with its castle, great places to eat, farmers markets and events
Prestigne Town
With its judges lodgings, farmers market, coffee shops and small restaurants
Ancient hill forts
There are five ancient hill forts within an 1hrs drive of the farm, all with great views of the area.
National trails
Offa's dyke Footpath just an hours walk away, and Glywdrs trail runs through the farm
Market town of Knighton
Still has a livestock market every Thursday, local butchers, great pubs for food, fish and chips, supermarket and curry house.
Leisure Activities on the farm
We are happy to show guests around the farm and at certain times of the year you can help feed the animals.
Small breeds centre kington
Well worth a visit with its large collection of owls, owls chicks being born most of the year, red squirrels and small farm animals
Horse Riding
10min drive away is the excellent Underhill riding stable. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
